- A curriculum is made up of a complete teaching-learning programme with
overall aims, syllabus, materials, methods of teaching and assessments. It provides
a framework of knowledge and capabilities suitable to a particular level.
- ‘Learning’ is a continuous process, therefore, ‘assessment’, which is
an integral part of learning, also has to be continuous.
- Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) refers to a system of evaluation
that covers all aspects of students’ development─ intellectual, emotional, physical,
cultural and social development.
- CCE uses assessment as a means of motivating learners. It provides information
for effective feedback and follow-up work to improve learning.
